Zumiez offers a no-hassle return policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. You can also return items by mail. Zumiez proudly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged, or defective merchandise purchased from us for a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase. All returns must be authorized by Zumiez before being returned. Returns initiated after 30 days of the order date will be accepted on an exception basis at the discretion of Zumiez. All items marked “Final Sale” are not returnable.

Refunds will be processed to the credit card used at the time of purchase within 10 business days from when we receive your return package. Shipping charges are not refundable and you are responsible for any shipping costs associated with your return.

To help ensure that every return or exchange is handled promptly and fairly, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Contact our Customer Service Department to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) prior to returning your product(s). Any product returned without an RA# will not be accepted. Please have your order number available when you call so our team can efficiently process your request.
  • Write the RA# on the outside of the shipping box or on the mailing label, making sure it is visible. Please do not write it on the product packaging as this will damage the product and result in your return being refused.
  • Include all original packaging and accessories with your return unless otherwise instructed by our Customer Service team. If you do not have the original packaging, please pack your return in a well-padded box to prevent damage during transit as we cannot accept damaged merchandise.
  • Ship via a traceable method as we cannot accept responsibility for packages lost by shippers. We recommend using UPS, FedEx, or Insured USPS Parcel Post for your return as they can provide tracking information which expedites our processing time.

How to Return a Zumiez item? 

To make a return or exchange at a Zumiez store, please bring in your original purchase receipt along with the item you would like to return or exchange. We do not require a return authorization number for store returns.

Zumiez is not responsible for packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to Zumiez.

STEP 2: Include your packing slip or order information so we can process your return as quickly as possible. If you no longer have your packing slip or order information, please include your name, address, phone number, and email address so we can contact you if we have any questions about your return.

New orders placed for exchanged items will ship out within 3-5 business days ( barring any credit card issues) after being placed Monday-Friday before 1 PM Pacific Time excluding holidays noted on our website calendar. Please note that we do our best to keep popular items in stock but occasionally items do sell out before we are able to update our website inventory levels. You may want to place a new order for an item even if it shows as “out of stock” on our website as sometimes inventory levels are inaccurate.
