Crate and Barrel gladly accept returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged, or defective merchandise purchased on our website or in our stores within 60 days of the date of purchase with the original email receipt, packing slip, or store receipt. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Products marked “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged. Mattresses, box springs, foundation, floor samples, clearance merchandise (merchandise with a red dot or designation), custom upholstery, fabrics, and furniture protection plans are also not returnable.
All monogrammed items and made-to-order furniture are final sale and cannot be canceled once the order is placed with the manufacturer. For these items, please call Customer Service at 1.800.323.5461 for assistance.
How Long Do I have to Return an Item to Crate and Barrel?

Yes, Crate and Barrel offer full refunds for most items, including sale items, within 60 days of purchase. For returns made after 60 days, Crate and Barrel will issue a store credit. A few items are final sale and cannot be returned, including furniture, lamps, lighting fixtures (chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts), wall art/mirrors larger than 36″ x 36″, rugs 8′ x 10′, quilts/coverlets, comforters, and custom upholstery & slipcovers.

No, all returns must be in the original packaging in order to be processed.
How will I be refunded by Crate and Barrel?
Crate and Barrel will provide a refund to the original form of payment for most items that are returned within 90 days of purchase with proof of purchase. If the original form of payment is not available, a store credit will be issued. Items must be in their original condition and packaging in order to be accepted for return.
Returns made after 90 days or without proof of purchase will result in a store credit being issued. Final sale items, including furniture, cannot be returned.
How Long do Crate and Barrel refunds take?
Refunds for items returned within 90 days will be credited in the same form as the original payment type. The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Returns of items purchased from our Outlet Stores or at a Crate and Barrel Warehouse Sale will be refunded by check issued from our corporate offices within 14 business days.
We are unable to accept returns of monogrammed items or furniture items delivered by In-Home Delivery Service that have been assembled or modified in any way.
Crate & Barrel cannot process returns for items purchased from other retailers, including crateandbarrel.com. Items must be returned to the retailer from which they were originally purchased and are subject to that retailer’s return policy.
Can you return an online purchase to the Crate and Barrel store?
Crate & Barrel gladly accept returns of non-furniture items that were purchased on our website. All other online purchases must be returned by mail.
