What is Scheels Return Policy?
Scheels offers a no questions asked, 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a Scheel’s purchase, simply return the product to any Scheels store for an exchange or refund.
All returns must be accompanied by a sales receipt. If you do not have your original sales receipt, Scheels will be happy to issue you a store credit based on the current selling price of the item. All returns must be in new and unused condition with all original tags and original packaging to receive a refund.
Any product that has been used or damaged will not be accepted for return and will be returned to the customer at their expense. All clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
How Long Do I have to Return an Item to Scheels?
Most returns must be made within 60 days of purchase for a refund. Exceptions to this policy include:
- Major League Baseball, NFL, NBA, and NHL jerseys, must be returned within 30 days.
- Bikes and fitness equipment must be returned within 7 days.
- Guns, which have a no-return policy.
Does Scheels Accept Returns Without a Receipt?
For returns without a receipt, we accept most items within 60 days of purchase with a valid ID. A valid ID is a state-issued driver’s license, military ID, passport, or Visa® card. Items must be in new, unused, and salable condition to receive a refund.
The refund value for these items will be at the lowest advertised price. If the item was purchased with a Scheels gift card, the refund will be issued to a Scheels gift card. If you do not have your original form of payment and the item was not purchased with a Scheels gift card, you will receive a store credit for the refund value.
Does Scheels offer full refunds?
At Scheels, our top priority is providing superior customer service. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept returns of merchandise that is:
- In new and unused condition
- In the original packaging
- With a Scheels receipt or packing slip
For returns made more than 60 days after the date of purchase, we will issue a Gift Card for the amount of the purchase. All decisions regarding refunds are at the discretion of our Store Management.
Can I return an Item to Scheels without the box or original package?
Scheels accepts returns of most unused, undamaged merchandise in its original packaging with original receipts for a refund, credit, or exchange. Returns of certain items, including but not limited to undergarments, may be subject to a restocking fee as noted on the receipt at the time of return. Refunds for items purchased with a Scheels Gift Card will be issued as Gift Card.
If the original form of payment was cash and the purchase was made more than seven (7) calendar days prior to the return, a corporate check will be mailed within ten (10) business days. If the original form of payment was something other than cash and the purchase was made more than seven (7) calendar days prior to the return, the refund will be credited back to that account within three (3) to five (5) business days.
How will I be refunded by Scheels?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will refund the purchase price of the item; however, we will not refund shipping and handling charges. All returns must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase and you must have a valid return authorization number (RA#) to process your return.
All returns must be in new, unused, and unassembled condition unless returned due to a defect in which case a full refund including all shipping and handling charges will be issued. A 15% restocking fee may apply to certain return items. Please call our customer service department at 1-888-523-4695 to obtain an RA# prior to returning any merchandise.
How Long do Scheels refunds take?
In general, you can expect your refund to be processed within 3-5 business days of us receiving your return. However, during our busy season (Nov – Dec), refunds may take up to 7 business days to process. You will receive an email notification when your refund has been processed.
Can you return an online purchase to the Scheels store?
Yes, you can return merchandise purchased online to any Scheels store. You have 60 days from the time you receive your purchase to return the item to a store for a refund. All returns must be accompanied by a receipt, the credit card used for the purchase, and a photo ID.
If you do not have a receipt, Scheels will attempt to locate your purchase using your credit card information and refund you based on the current selling price of the item. Returns without a receipt or credit card used for the purchase will not be accepted.
