What is Everlane’s Return Policy?
We accept returns on all full-price items within 60 days of purchase. Returns must be in unused, unwashed condition with all tags attached. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
To make a return, start by finding your order number (located in your order confirmation email or at the bottom of your packing slip). Then, visit our self-service portal and select the items you wish to return. Follow the prompts to print a prepaid shipping label—you’ll have 14 days to mail your return back to us.
Once we’ve received and processed your return, we’ll issue a refund for the cost of the returned item(s) back to your original form of payment within 5–7 business days. (The time it takes for the refund to show up in your account may vary depending on your bank or credit card issuer.)
How Long Do I have to Return an Item to Everlane?
We accept returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged, or defective merchandise purchased on our website for a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase. All returned items must be accompanied by a return form and sent back to us through a traceable method.
We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for your return to be processed once it is received by our Distribution Center.
Does Everlane Accept Returns Without a Receipt?
If you need to return an item but don’t have your original receipt, don’t worry! We can still process your return as long as you have one of the following:
- Your order number
- The email address used to place the order
- The credit card used to place the order
If you have one of the above, we’ll be able to look up your order and process the return.
Does Everlane offer full refunds?
At Everlane, we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy with an item, we accept returns within 30 days of receipt for most items in new, unused, and unwashed condition. Used or damaged items cannot be returned. All footwear returns must include the original shoe box in its original condition, without postal labels. For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned.
To return an item, please follow the steps below:
- Pack your item(s) in the original shipping box or another suitable shipping box. Please do not use the shoe box as your shipping box as it will not be returned to you.
- Include a note inside with your name, order number, and reason for return/exchange. If this is a gift return, please indicate the name and address of the gifter so we can process the return accordingly.
- Send your package back to us using a shipping method of your choice (at your expense). We recommend that you use a traceable service so you can track your package. Everlane is not responsible for packages lost in transit without proof of tracking.

Yes, you may return an item to Everlane without the box or original packaging, as long as you include all original tags and you have your receipt or packing slip.
