Poshmark’s Return and Refund Policy: Welcome back to Poshmark! We’re excited to announce our new and improved return and refund policy. Starting today, we’ll be offering a full refund on any items that are returned within 30 days of purchase.
So whether you’re not happy with your purchase or you simply change your mind, we’ve got you covered. We know that sometimes things just don’t work out, and we want to make sure that you’re always happy with your Poshmark purchases.
What is Poshmark’s Return Policy?
If an item you received isn’t as described or doesn’t fit, we accept returns within 3 days of receipt. All returned items must be in the same condition as when they were sold, with all tags attached. Once your return is processed, you will receive a refund for the item’s purchase price back to your original form of payment.
If your order included shipping, we will also refund your shipping costs (outbound shipping costs are non-refundable). Please note that it can take up to 10 business days for the refund to post to your account.
To start a return, go to My Poshmark > Orders > Sold and select the order you wish to return. Then, click “Return/Refund” next to the item.
How Long Do I have to Return an Item to Poshmark?
You have 3 days after delivery to request a return for most items. If you return an item without requesting a return through the app, you will not be refunded for the cost of shipping.
To start a return, go to My closet and select the sold listing for the item you wish to return. Then, select “Request Return” and choose the reason for your return. If the buyer agrees to the return, they will have 48 hours to ship the item back to you. Once they confirm the shipment in the app, your refund will be processed automatically.
If an item is not returned within 7 days of delivery, or if an item is returned without original tags, you may not be eligible for a refund.
Does Poshmark Accept Returns Without a Receipt?
No, Poshmark does not accept returns without a receipt. If you have lost your receipt or order confirmation, please reach out to our Customer Support team and they will be happy to assist you further.
Does Poshmark offer full refunds?
We offer a full refund for items that meet our return policy criteria. All returns must be initiated through our returns portal within 4 days of receiving your order. For more information on our return policy, please visit our Help Center.
Can I return an Item to Poshmark without the box or original package?
We’re sorry, but we cannot process returns without the original item packaging or box. If your return arrives without the original packaging or box and is in Garment Bags or Posh Pak, a refund for the item(s) will be issued, minus a $5.95 processing fee per order. This fee helps us offset the cost of returning the items back to our sellers. We apologize for any inconvenience.
How will I be refunded by Poshmark?
We’re happy to process refunds for most returns. However, we do not refund original shipping charges, and we do not refund duties and taxes. If you paid for expedited shipping, we’ll refund the standard shipping charges.
To return an item, please follow these steps:
- Select the reason for your return from the drop-down menu.
- Include a note explaining why you’re returning the item. This will help our team process your return more quickly.
- Pack up your return items along with the original packaging and packing slip (or your order number). Make sure to remove any old labels or barcodes from the box.
- Ship your return to us using a service of your choice. For items valued at $40 or less, we recommend using a service with tracking so you can confirm we’ve received your package. For items valued over $40, we recommend using a service with insurance as Poshmark is not responsible for lost or damaged packages during return shipping.
- Please keep your shipping receipt until your return is processed. We are unable to process returns for items sent without a way to track them back to us (such as First Class Package Service through USPS).
How Long do Poshmark refunds take?
Poshmark refunds generally take 3-5 business days to process. You will receive an email notification when your refund has been processed. If you do not receive an email notification after 5 business days, please reach out to our Customer Support Team for assistance
Can you return an online purchase to the Poshmark store?

Does Poshmark Accept returns through the mail?
To initiate a return through the mail, please follow the steps below:
- Visit poshmark.com/returns on a desktop computer or laptop to begin the return process.
- Select the item(s) you wish to return and indicate the reason for your return. If you do not have a printer, you may select “Return by Mail without Printing.”
- Once you have selected your items and reasons for returning them, please click “Continue to Payment Method.” You will not be charged for your return shipping label.
- On the next page, select “Generate Return Label.” This will generate a unique QR code as well as provide step-by-step mailing instructions. Please note that you have 14 days to mail your items back to us once you initiate your return.
- Print out the QR code or write down the order number associated with your return label and include it in your package.
- Mail your items back to us using any shipping carrier of your choice at your own expense. We recommend obtaining a tracking number for your reference. Poshmark is not responsible if items are lost or damaged in transit back to us. You will be refunded within 3-5 business days of receiving and processing your return shipment back at our warehouse.
